A story of how a broken axel on the Duchess and her aunts journey home, throws her and a mere farmer together. Andrew is a hard working farmer who comes to the aide of Lady Teresa Colborne and her aunt when their carriage breaks down by his farm. The roads become impassible when a heave story goes through. Needing to wait for Andrew's friend Lucas to get through to get the parts needed to fix the axel, the women are made to stay in Andrew's home. He knows it is improper for them to be staying there as from what he can see, they are certainly upper class. Rose, the housekeeper/cook is far from pleased they are there. Lady Teresa is enjoying the country life and being away from her demanding parents and her soon to be arranged betrothed, whom she despises. Lady Teresa has taken it upon herself to help with chores and learn about farming from Andrew. After the two become attracted to one another, she is learning much more steamy intimate things also from Andrew. This book was very enjoyable and the characters were strong and amusing. Lady Teresa was more courageous then she believed she was. The only negatives were, editing issues and the repetitive dialogues and description. A spicy, romantic and sometimes funny book. I would recommend it.*I was given a free copy and this is my honest review*
